Children are anything but boring... So why should their school portraits be? Children deserve to be celebrated for their differences & should express themselves in a way that is both creative and authentic. This is why I love boutique preschool portraits. When your school hires me, preschool portraits become a fun & unique experience, not a rushed, impersonal chore. I want you to recognize your child in this moment of time, just as they are-- silly, shy, loving, loud, energetic or all of the above. This experience gives you the ability to choose between several images of your child with different backdrops & posing, provide more one on one time with students so they feel comfortable & relaxed, purchase fine art printing with professional retouching, and give back to your preschool!
what is boutique preschool photography?
- introductory planning call prior to Picture Day
- password protected online gallery for each family to select images to purchase
- professional, natural hand retouching
- unlimited natural light backdrops (minimum of 3)
- use of props (blankets, chairs & stools)
- gentle posing guidance & silly prompts to keep your children smiling
- extra photos for siblings or cousins
- images in both color and B&W
- discounted print packages that include 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10 sizing
- finished product options for parents who'd like to create additional art
- full class portrait with teachers
perks & giving back
- I'm hired at zero cost to your preschool (my cost of hire is completely absorbed through parent orders)
- Each teacher will receive a complimentary retouched headshot
- Each teacher will receive a complimentary class photo printed in 5x7
- If your preschool hosts an auction or fundraiser, I will donate a family session-- Just ask!
- Any families who book a family portrait session with me in the Fall will receive a 20% discount on their preschool order
What does this process look like from beginning to end?
- initial planning call with your preschool
- introductory email sent to each parent with Picture Day date, outfit guidance, pricing guide & image release form (optional)
- Picture Day takes place & is completed within 2 hours
- 2 weeks after Picture Day, each family will receive a custom gallery with about 10 images of their child to select favorites to purchase
- You will receive your digital images within 2 weeks of purchase
- You will receive your print order within 4 weeks of purchase
